Three Questions with Kevin
1. How do you identify trends? What resources does your team use to spot trends and consumer insights?
We enjoy visiting art museums and toy stores to get inspired, or we go out and bond as a team to get creative. We look at stores on an aisle-by-aisle basis when planning for new products. It’s important to know what people buy from each aisle.
2. Has there ever been an instance where another industry has influenced an innovation at your company?
We look at science for projects like Gazillion Bubbles to get the best solutions on the market. We also look into the fashion industry at what styles are popular and real vehicle companies for our Tonka trucks.
3. Looking to the future, how is Funrise going to be a leader in innovation?
We hold an open door to inventors, and our team is always open-minded to other people pitching ideas. Having a really good relationship with our buyers is great, because we're constantly developing with them.
