Google+ sign in features range from calls to action to a cleaner social integration that can benefit businesses looking to supercharge engagement on their websites. Here are some of the ways in which these features can help you business accomplish its goals.

Less spam. Unlike Facebook sign in, Google+ offers far more user control over what kind of information is shared on one's social media account. Users who sign in with Google+ can share their related activity with particular circles, making this a consumer-friendly and more targeted alternative to other sign in options. Though it could be argued that this may act as a disadvantage due to less exposure, offering consumers a better experience while using your site is a strongly underrated advantage.

Access to data. Though many other sign in options provide companies with data about users, Google+ has an advantage in that it could potentially provide more information than its competitors, like user data from other Google-owned services like YouTube. Data is power when it comes to the web, and this is likely one of the major reasons brands will begin to offer Google+ sign in.

Interactive post options. Helping push calls to action, Google+ offers brands the option to add buttons to shared links that encourage people to partake in a related activity. For example, a company that retails products could integrate a button that prompts a user to buy the product. This is by far the biggest strength Google+ sign in, and provides a truly valuable service to brands who choose to adopt the feature.

Google+ sign in features are just another way in which the platform continues to grow and innovate. Though not on par with the amount of users on Facebook, businesses would be wise to consider Google+ as part of their strategy in order to take advantage of these unique opportunities.
