3 Questions with Peter LaMotte
1. How do you motivate your team to come up with good ideas?
The best thing I feel I can do for my team is simply setting aside time for their own creative freedom. In that, they can explore curiosity and new ideas without pressure.
2. How do you create a culture of innovation?
That's an interesting question because we’re in a new space and everything we do is an innovation. But I can say that that the focus has to be on the client. We pay less attention to what our competitors are doing and more attention to what our clients want. By doing so, you can create a unique environment that isolates the client need and stimulates creativity and innovation within the company.
3. Are there specific areas of your culture of innovation that you would like to enhance to make your team more innovative?
Yes and that would be the ease of technology implementation. It’s easy to come up with an idea. It’s the implementation of that idea that is the tricky part.
